Window Of Opportunity

Today I had the privilege of interviewing with Country Living Magazine and I was blown away! I was able to see the inner works of an established magazine company and it was just mind blowing. It fascinated me seeing the different aspects of the company and the roles of the staff that are separated but then joined together to create a single product, a magazine. I have never been inside a magazine company so all of this was very fascinating and in my opinion brilliant.  Not to mention the gorgeous view of 8th Avenue that can be seen perfectly from their conference room and also Columbus Circle and parts of Central Park. This company is placed in a marvelous area with a diversity of foods that could be indulged in around 8th Avenue. It has a small powerful, hardworking, staff that really amplifies the true meaning of homeliness and that is what Country Living is all about; home orientation. This is what opportunity is all about my readers, taking control of what is handed to you and using it to its best ability. Me, Everette Hamlette, a poet from the Bronx would have never imagined for this to happen. When an opportunity presents itself in your life readers take it because that is how I got to where I am now. Don't say next time or another day because the time is now and that day is today. I would like to thank the staff of Country Living for presenting me with such a great opportunity and I will use it to my best ability to better myself and the company. To my readers, keep doing what you are good at and if you have a chance to do it for a cause DO NOT BACK DOWN!!! In the courageous words of Andie played by Briana Evigan in Step Up 2 "it’s not about what you got, it's what you make of what you've got!"

Peace readers
